Short period activity cycles in Sun-like stars
Recent Kepler, CoRoT and TESS space missions collected huge information about the activity of Sun-type stars. Knowledge about solar activity gathered over decades can be used to understand the physics of stellar dynamo action. On the other hand, observations of stellar activity being at different evolutionary phases may give us a clue how the Sun’s activity will evolve in time. Therefore, mutual scientific collaboration between the two research societies is of vital importance. This project will make a step forward in this direction.
