Ground-State properties of low-dimensional strongly correlated spin-imbalanced Fermi systems in the presence of symmetry breaking fields

The aim of the given project is to study dynamical effects caused by symmetry breaking fields in strongly correlated phases of low-dimensional (1D, few-chain and 2D) fermion systems. This includes spin-rotational and translational symmetry breaking potentials, mass imbalanced fermion mixtures, and spin-orbit coupling. Our goal is to describe ground-state phase diagrams of such systems and identify quantum critical points separating phases with qualitatively different properties.
