Cosmology with Galaxy Bispectrum
The main objective of our project is to develop methods that would unable BAO and RSD analysis of threepoint statistics on linear and semi-linear scales similarly to the power spectrum. These types of analyses have been performed on existing data sets. The BAO signature has been measured in BOSS DR12 average threepoint function and the bispectrum. Bispectrum monopole has been used to supplement BOSS DR12 power spectrum measurements provide an incomplete list of previous works in this direction. The full analysis of BAO and RSD in three-point statistics (jointly with the power spectrum) at the level required by DESI, Euclid, and WFIRST, is however still a work in the making. To achieve this goal many issues need to be carefully studied. Future galaxy surveys will provide very precise measurements and even small systematic effects may translate into significant biases in derived cosmological parameters.
