Social Work is a new discipline in Georgia. Accordingly, there is a lack of professional literature. Within this
project the first scientific educational book in Georgian Language will be published. The topics of the book will be
devoted to the modern social work theory and methods with individuals and families, also the local experience that
shows recent developments in the field of Social Work. The book will be useful for students as well as for
specialists working in the field. The authors of the book are the first social workers in Georgia who earned their
degrees in the US.
