The main goal of the presented conference project is to introduce the wider scientific and engineering community to the geological and seismic studies that have been conducted in the Caucasus region for the past two decades. The co-sponsor of the project is the Department of Energy of the USA, which within the framework of the Seismic Cooperation Program (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, etc.) constantly helps the scientific teams of the Caucasus and Central Asia to implement new technologies in scientific research. These studies served as the basis of the new seismic hazard assessment maps, which are one of the prerequisites for the country's seismic safety and earthquake-resilience construction. The field's leading scientists from the USA, Canada, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Central Asian countries have agreed to organize and participate in the conference. Georgian scientists who made a great contribution to the development of geology and seismology in Georgia will be actively involved in the project. T
