The main goal of the project is developing project participants with the recently suggested theory of possible predictability of the sporadic E (Es) layer formation and localization dependence on neutral wind velocity direction, magnitude and its vertical shear in the mesopause-lower thermosphere region in 3-D case. The theoretical model and correspondingly numerical code will take into account this region's two main heavy metallic and molecular ions (Fe+, Mg+, O2+, NO+) composition and the presence of the electric field.
