Natural Science Education Research Center SALIS

The Natural Science Education Research Center  SALiS at Ilia State University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, is designed for educational and research purposes.

The centre aims to promote the development of science education in Georgia, the introduction and development of modern teaching methods through research in this area and the development of cooperation at the national/international level.

 

The tasks of the centre are:

  • Conducting scientific research in the field of science education;
  • Promoting the development and introduction of modern methods of teaching science;
  • Development of cooperation in the field of science education at both national and international levels (initiation and implementation of joint research and educational projects with European and other international partners);
  • Work with Georgian secondary schools and science teachers to improve their qualifications.
